Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_88645_20220726_105146.jpg Notes: רָמַת יוֹחָנָן הוא קיבוץ בעמק זבולון סמוך לקריית אתא השייך למועצה אזורית זבולון. היישוב קרוי על שמו של יאן (יוחנן) סמאטס ראש ממשלת דרום אפריקה ואוהד הציונות.במלחמת העצמאות, ב-16 באפריל 1948, נערך בסביבות הקיבוץ קרב קשה בין חטיבת כרמלי לבין הגדוד הדרוזי של צבא ההצלה של פאוזי קאוקג'י. בקרב נהרג זוהר (זוריק) דיין, אחיו של משה דיין. בעקבות הקרב, נחתם הסכם אי-התקפה בין ההגנה לדרוזים.כלכלת הקיבוץ מבוססת בעיקרה על חברת פלרם שהוקמה ב-1963.
