English: Name: Rosh Hanikra Description: Rosh Hanikra עברית: שם: ראש הנקרה תיאור: ראש הנקרה הערות: שמוּרַת רֹאשׁ הַנִּקְרָה מצאת בקצהו הצפוני של חוף הים התיכון של ישראל. מצוק תלול היורד לתוך הים התיכון. ("ראס א-נאקורה" -הגבעה (הראש) של נאקורה") צבא אלכסנדר מוקדון חצב ב 323 לפני הספירה נקבה בראש הנקרה למעבר החיילים שהטילו מצור על צור. ב1915 סלל הצבא הבריטי דרך לכלי רכב. ב-1941-2 חיילות ההנדסה של דרום אפריקה וניו זילנד חצבו את מנהרות הרכבת. הוצבו גשר וקירות הגנה. הונחה מסילת רכבת שחיברה את ארץ ישראל ומצרים ללבנון, סוריה, טורקיה ולאירופה. ב 1944 הובאו דרכה פליטים יהודים מגרמניה (וויקיפדיה). מיקום: ראש הנקרה קובץ מקורי: 20230808_103921.jpg |
