הערות: דב אלתר שורץ היה מאנשי צפת שב1878 הקימו את גיא אוני. עבר לאלכסנדריה לשמש רב הקהילה האשכנזית וחזר לראש פינה. נכדו היה יגאל אלון. כשהעביר הברון את מושבותיו לניהול יק”א ב 1900 , קיבל ר’ אלתר שורץ מבנה בן קומה אחת הוסיף קומה שניה והפכו לבית מלון הראשון בגליל. קומתו העליונה כללה 5 חדרים וחדר אירועים קטן. המטבח וחדר האוכל היו בקומת הקרקע בה גרה גם משפחת שורץ. במלון התארחו אישים וביניהם יוסף טרומפלדור והרב קוק. ר’ שורץ גם הוביל דואר ומצרכים עבור יק”א. היה גבאי בבית הכנסת ובחברה קדישא וחבר ועד המושבה
