תיאור: בית הכנסת הקראי בעיר העתיקה נמצא בחצר הקראים מול בית הכנסת תפארת ישראל במפלס תת-קרקעי. בתמונה - טלית עם ציציות על פי הקראים
הערות: על פי מסורת הקהילה הקראית, בית הכנסת נבנה על ידי ענן בן דוד הנשיא מייסד התנועה הקראית, במאה ה-8 לספירה עם עלייתו לארץ ישראל מבבל, אך לפי צורת המבנה נראה כי המבנה נבנה בתקופה הצלבנית (מאה 12). מבנה בית הכנסת לא חרב במלחמת העצמאות כמו יתר בתי הרובע היהודי בהיותו במפלס תת-קרקעי. בארון הקודש נמצא ספר תורה עתיק כתוב על עור צבי. בחצר הקראים פועל מרכז מורשת לתולדות הקהילה הקראית
