Français : Titre : Environs de Hué, 1928 – Tombeau de Minh Mang – Portique en bronze

Notice : Minh Mang, deuxième souveran de la dynastie des Nguyen, était le fils de Gia Mong et le père de Thieu Tri. Ce portique en bronze se trouve à l’extrémité de l’un des ponts qui franchissent les étangs sacrés. Il se compose de quatre colonnes formées par un dragon enroulé. Le sommet de la colonne est couronné d’un vase d’où émerge une fleur de lotus. Les entrecolonnements sont formés de panneaux émaillés figurant les attributs des quatre saisons sur fond de couleurs. avec une inscription en lettres d’or au milieu. Ces panneaux en fonte revêtus d’un décor émaillé furent une des spécialités les plus réussies des artistes de la Capitale. Sur le tombeau de Minh Mang, voir AP0026.
