English: 375617 arrives into Wye on a slightly delayed 1454 service to Charing Cross.
I've not caught a bus in some time... which would seem quite strange given that I am in part a bus enthusiast. Why? Because this railway actually provides a useful service when I need it. See, I decided I needed to go shopping for a few things in Ashford on a Tuesday afternoon. The bus would take me right to the entrance of the shop I wanted to go to, but it was 1430 and I was right in the middle of the mysterious gap between the 1353 and 1653 buses, with the 1653 getting me into Ashford just 12 minutes before the last bus home - completely useless. Meanwhile these SouthEastern trains run every 30 minutes, take 7 minutes to get there and go on well after 1747, so there's really no competition here as to which I'll use... :( |
