Description
English: Campaign season in Cairo means a visual onslaught of election-related material, mostly posters that plaster or hang off every conceivable edifice in the city, from vegetables stores to electrical stations to cars to lamp posts. Here, posters are shown in the Zamalek neighborhood five days before the election for the lower house of parliament. Mediha Khattab, a woman from the ruling National Democratic Party running for a female quota seat, is shown in the middle poster.
