Description
Deutsch: Inzwischen (2016) abgefahrenes Piktogramm zur Ermutigung zum Fahrradfahren auf der Strasse. In Fahrtrichtung ist eine früher stark befahrene Hauptverkehrsstrasse (Pilgrimstein) für KFZ in Einbahnrichtung eingerichtet, die nach und nach für den Radverkehr in Gegenrichtung geöffnet wurde, zeitweise mit einem Radweg auf dem links daneben liegenden Bürgersteig. Dieser wegen der Enge in Marburgs Innenstadt und jahrzehntelanger autogerechter Verkehrsplanung zu schmale Bordsteinradweg führte immer wieder zu Konflikten mit Fussgängern, besonders wenn auch in Einbahnrichtung auf den dafür nicht vorgesehenen Radweg ausgewichen wurde. Derzeit ist allerdings diese Wegeverbindung entlang des Alten Botanischen Gartens wegen Sanierungsarbeiten für Fussgänger und Radler gespert, eine Umleitung eingerichtet.
