English: Cytochalasin D inhibits presynaptic membrane bulging and bulk endocytosis. The NMJ preparation was pre-treated with 4 µM cytochalasin D for 40 min followed by prelabeling with 10 µM FM1-43 for 5 min. The preparation was extensively washed in normal Ringer's solution prior to stimulation at 20 Hz for 10 min. Confocal time-lapse imaging was started immediately after the end of stimulation. |
