Irate Housewife Does Fast Burn. Clifton, New Jersey. (United Press). Clifton police rushed to the swank residential area of Beverly Hill Road yesterday to check on a report of a fire. They found Mrs. Adele Lindauer standing in the middle of the street beside a burning couch. Mrs. Lindauer told officers she "got so mad” when garbage collectors refused to take the couch that she decided to dispose of it herself. Police supervised while Mrs. Lindauer doused the flaming couch with a garden hose.
