Description
English: Video 3. Tumor spheroid (TS)-embryoid body (EB) confrontation culture assay. 17-N-Allylamino-17-demethoxygeldanamycin (17-AAG) inhibits U-87 MG tissue invasion. Single day 4 green fluorescent protein (GFP) transduced U-87 MG TS and day 7 EBs were cocultured in each well of ultra-low attachment (ULA) 96-well plates. Cocultures were treated with 17-AAG (5 μM) or with vehicle (control) at the initiation of the cocultures. Timelapse imaging shows the invasion of U-87 MG GFP cells towards the EB in the control coculture while no invasion is evident in the 17-AAG treated culture. Images were obtained as described above over a period of 40 h. File format: MPEG.
