English:
Wood (ceremic?) Good shepherd statue at the entrance of the Alsóváros Franciscan church Built between 1702 and 1704, remodelled in 1760. From 1787-1791 and 1806-1815 it was a military warehouse. Its tower was made in 1816. Plaque on its facade: Lower Church. Patron:f St. Joseph. From 1814 it was built from the stones of the castle on a plot given by castle commander Kristóf Berge in Baroque style. Its main altarpiece was painted in 1747 by Caspar Franz Sambach, together with a pulpit on the order of Chancellor Count Lajos Batthyány. In 1816 Károly Hitzelberger built a clock in its tower. Its stucco-framed frescoes are the works of Sándor Éber and Anna from 1926-27. The memorial plaque was erected in 2007 by Tamás Nádasi and his family- Zárda Street, Nagykanizsa, Zala County, Hungary

'Római katolikus, volt ferences templom' néven védett azonosító: 10964, törzsszám: 6266. Emléktáblájának felirata: "Alsótemplom, Patrónusa Szent József. 1814-től a vár köveiből Berge Kristóf várparancsnok adta telken épitették ferencesek barokk stilusban. Főoltárképét 1747-ben Caspar Franz Sambach festette, szószékkel együtt gróf Batthyány Lajos kancellár megrendelésére. 1816-ra elkészült tornyába 1823-ban Hitzelberger Károly épített órát. Stukkókeretes freskói Éber Sándor és Anna munkái 1926-27-ból. Az emléktáblát állitatta 2007 esztendőben Nádasi Tamás és családja" színes, ólomkeretes üvegablakok Palka József üvegfestő mester műhelyében készültek 1926-ban. - Zala megye, Nagykanizsa, Zárda utca 16? helyrajzi szám: 2048
