Summary

edit
Description Found along the mid-Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico coasts, this colonial nester is fond of crayfish, insects and fish for food. It is a non-visual forager, whose main foraging behavior is probing with its tactile beak at the bottom of shallow water to feel forms and capture its prey.
