Amsterdam EYE museum and A'DAM Lookout

I walk by this scene very often. It is strikingly beautiful, but with the amount of tourists, cameras, and photographer that pass this scene each day, I tend to look at it and think about how pointless it would be for me to photograph it as well. Much better images than any I could ever produce probably exist already.

Today I had my camera and tripod on me, and the weather was too nice to not at least give it a try. I took several different shots, and this particular one satisfied me. I am not sure if the clouds add or remove from the image. On the one hand, they help separate the EYE museum from the sky, but, on the other hand, I the transition between the clouds and the sky is bothersome. A completely clear sky would look boring to me. I might come back during a cloudy day and take this shot again, to see if it looks better.

I took three exposures and put them together with Nik's HDR Efex Pro 2, then added finishing touches with RawTherappe 5.2.
