Description
The largest analcime is 1.3 cm in diameter. Via Jean-Yves Lamoureux (found Oct 1996). MOB coll. The central microcline xl (gray/tan) is euhedral except for a small contact on the bottom.
Here is JY's recollection of the find: "This cavity was already opened, worked out by Gilles, and visible, low in the wall of the road descending in the quarry. I had to crawl downwards and leftwards at a 45 degrees angle, without even a t-shirt, and after having emptied my lungs, otherwise I wouldn't have fit in the slanted chimney. This was mid-october 1996, and the air outside was a mere 45 degrees F! Worked that one for some 4 hours, took out zillions of small analcimes, and enjoyed every minute of it ! :)"

Beschreibung
Der größte Analcim hat einen Durchmesser von 1,3 cm. Über Jean-Yves Lamoureux (gefunden im Oktober 1996). MOB coll. Der zentrale Mikroklinkristall (grau/braun) ist bis auf einen kleinen Kontakt am Boden idiomorph.
Hier ist JYs Erinnerung an den Fund: "Dieser Hohlraum wurde bereits geöffnet, von Gilles ausgearbeitet und sichtbar, tief in der Wand der Straße, die in den Steinbruch abfällt. Ich musste in einem Winkel von 45 Grad nach unten und links kriechen, ohne ein T-Shirt und nachdem ich meine Lungen geleert hatte, sonst hätte ich nicht in den schrägen Schornstein gepasst. Dies war Mitte Oktober 1996, und die Luft draußen war nur etwa 7,2 Grad Celsius! Ich habe ungefähr 4 Stunden daran gearbeitet, zig Millionen kleiner Analcimes herausgenommen und jede Minute davon genossen! :)"
