He is a brilliant actor, director, artist and can rightfully be called the king of motion capture! Yes, My Precioussss!!! The one and only Andy Serkis is coming to join his fellow Hobbits at Comic Con Brussels!! Here?s how he could potentially tackle a variety of roles: Gollum (The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit): Serkis is already famous for bringing this iconic character to life through motion capture. Caesar (Planet of the Apes trilogy): Serkis played Caesar, the intelligent ape leader, in the recent Planet of the Apes films. King Kong (King Kong): Serkis portrayed the giant ape in Peter Jackson?s 2005 film. Smeagol (The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit): Before becoming Gollum, Serkis portrayed Smeagol, Gollum?s innocent alter ego. Supreme Leader Snoke (Star Wars sequel trilogy): Though largely a CGI character, Serkis provided motion capture and voice acting for Snoke, the enigmatic leader of the First Order. Captain Haddock (The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn) Klaw (Marvel Cinematic Universe): Serkis portrayed Ulysses Klaue, a South African arms dealer with a bionic arm, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ian Dury (Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll): Serkis played the real-life musician Ian Dury in this biographical film. The Witch-King of Angmar (The Lord of the Rings): In addition to Gollum, Serkis embodied another iconic villain from the Tolkien universe. Alfred Pennyworth (The Batman): Serkis brought a fresh interpretation to the role of Bruce Wayne?s loyal butler.
