Deutsch: Apulisch-rotfigurige Situla des Varrese-Malers: Schwarzer Firnis, metallisch glänzend, zum größten Teil deckend. Vorzeichnungen. Zusatzfarbe: weiß und goldgelb. Unterseite des Fußes tongrundig. Gefäßinneres gefirnisst; Dekor: Unterhalb der Mündung: Eierstab. Gefäßkörper: Mäanderband mit Kreuzplatten unterhalb der figürlichen Szene; jeweils zwei übereinandergestellte, gespiegelte Palmetten trennen die Szenen voneinander; Darstellung: Symposionszene - unter einer Weinranke lagern zwei bekränzte, mit Hüftmantel bekleidete Jünglinge auf einer Kline; dem linken Jüngling reicht ein Eros einen offenen Kranz; neben dem rechten Jüngling steht ein bekleidetet Mädchen, die ihre linke Hand in die Hüfte stützt und mit der rechten Hand eine Doppelflöte (Doppelaulos) dem Symposiasten darbietet. Vor der Kline steht ein Kottabosständer, der mit einer Binde geschmückt ist. Rechts daneben liegt eine Schale. Um 340/20 v. Chr.; Höhe 25,5 cm, Fußdurchmesser 11,1 cm, Mündungsdurchmesser 22,5 cm. Antikensammlung Kiel, Inventarnummer B 779.
