Description Arabi, St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana. Sheriff's office, still in temporary trailer more than 4 & 1/2 years after the Hurricane Katrina levee failure disaster devastated the area. Sign proclaims St. Bernard Parish to be "The Safest Parish in the Metro Area"; presumably occasional 20 foot storm surges don't count as a safety issue.
