View from Templomhalom (Temple Mound) toward north. - Other namnes: Templomhalom Archaeological Memorial Park, Templomhalom Archaeological Memorial Park. Ruins of the old Félegyháza Árpád-era church on/in! a small hill and churchyard wall. At the end of the 11th century, a stone church built by decree of King Stephen already stood on the mound. The cemetery of the old Félegyháza was also located here. In 2015, an archaeological memorial park (elsewhere a plain 'memorial park') was established at the Temple Mound with picnic place, playground, rain shelter. After excavation in 1951 and continuously (?) until 2015, 540 graves were found in it with money, according to which the cemetery was 'opened' in the 1100s. The earliest medieval Hungarian cemeteries can be linked to the Act of King Saint Ladislaus in 1092. During the Mongol invasion of 1242-43, the fortification system surrounding the church mound may have been made. The settlement (among many others) less than two kilometers away was permanently destroyed. The returning half-churchmen/Kuns? The church was probably rebuilt in the 1300s in Gothic style with a 22 m long nave. It was at this time that the ramparts of the fortress were buried, and the so-called temple could be built at this time. It also has a garnish wall. Kilátás a halomról kb. észak felé. Templomhalom (Bankfalu). máshol Templomhalom régészeti emlékpark, máshol Templomhalom emlékpark. A régi Félegyháza Árpád-kori templomának romja, amit domb rejt. 2015-ig 540 sírt találtak benne pénzekkel melyek alapján 1100-as években 'nyitott' a temető. Szent László király 1092-es törvényéhez köthetők a legkorábbi középkori magyar temetők. Az 1242-43-as tatárdulás idején készülhetett a templomhalmot körülvevő erődrendszer. Az innen alig két kilométerre lévő település (a sok más) végleg elpusztult. 11. század végén már állt István király rendelete alapján épült kőtemplom a halmon. Az 11. sz templom a tatárjárásban elpusztult. Az alapokon a visszaköltőző félegyháziak/kunok? a templomot az vélhetően 1300-as években gótikus stílusban 22 m hosszú templomhajóval fel/újjáépítették. Ekkor temetták be az erőd sáncárkait és ekkor készülhetett a templom ún. körítőfala is (forrás: ismertetőtábl). A templomnak már csak egy fala van meg, köveit a 18. században újratelepülők elhordták, abból építették meg a Sarlós Boldogasszony-templomot. Itt volt a régi Félegyháza temetője is. Templomhalomnál 2015-ben régészeti emlékparkot (máshol sima 'emlékpark') alakítottak ki. 1951-ben ásatás, majd 2008 óta folyamatosan(?) - 2024-ben ismertetőtáblája részlegesen volt olvasható, vandálok megrongálták - 'Templom és körítőfal romja' néven helyi védett azonosító: +07457 ill. 19743 - Bács-Kiskun vármegye, Kiskunfélegyháza, Bankfalu városrész, Szélmalom utca
