South Fork Eel River Area of Critical Environmental Concern, California

The South Fork Eel River Area of Critical Environmental Concern protects 7,377 acres of watershed and old growth forest values in Mendocino County. ACECs were created by Congress and are designated by the BLM to protect important riparian corridors, threatened and endangered species habitats, cultural and archaeological resources, unique scenic landscapes and to protect people and property from hazards.
