DescriptionArmagh St. Patrick's Cathedral of the Church of Ireland South Aisle W12 Millennium Window (Stitched) 2019 09 09.jpg |
St. Patrick's Cathedral of the Church of Ireland, Armagh, County Armagh, Northern Ireland English: Stained glass window W12 in the south aisle (4th from east), depicting the Irish saints Patrick (lower left), Brendan (upper left), Ferdomnach (centre), Columba (lower right), and Brigid. Signed “Leadlines & David Esler”. The window was dedicated on 16 March 2003 in memory of the successive Archbishops and Deans who have served the Cathedral during two millennia. Inscription at the bottom: “Presented by the Friends of the Cathedral and the Cathedral Board to celebrate the third millennium of the Christian era.”. (See W. R. H. Carson, The Stained Glass Windows of the Cathedral Church of St. Patrick Armagh, p. 20; gloine.ie.) This panorama image has been created by combining three photos which were not shot with having this in mind. Hence, there are some minor stitching issues.
