File:Monasticon Hibernicum 1873 Tallaght.jpgEdit

I know it's a long time ago but do you remember where you got this image? I added an information template to the image page, as well as a source link, though different from your source, but wanted to add the engraver or artist. However, having found a source at, the image is not clear enough to read and even the individual page image downloads don't help. Thanks Ww2censor (talk) 10:15, 19 August 2018 (UTC)

Hi Ww2censor, the source has been explicitly given, right from the initial upload. This has been scanned by myself from the original book. Regards, AFBorchert (talk) 12:32, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
I've now fixed the author of the engraving as I found the uncropped scan of the entire page in my archives. Mervyn Archdall (1723–1791) was not the author but already long dead when this engraving was created. --AFBorchert (talk) 16:57, 19 August 2018 (UTC)

Helvick Head Fishing Boats IIEdit

Hi Andreas,

I'd like to use your photo of Helvick Head Fishing Boats II on a website. Is it ok to place "Main Photo Copyright (c) Andeas Borchert" in the footer of the front page and then link to your commons page for the image?

It'll be fairly prominent and won't get lost.

My email address is

Hi Martin, I am glad you like that photo from Helvick Head. Please feel free to use it, provided you attribute it to Andreas F. Borchert (please do not forget the middle initial “F.” and please take care of the spelling of my first name, i.e. the “r” was missing). A back link to Commons is appreciated but not strictly required. Regards, AFBorchert (talk) 13:59, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
