English: Copy of Arnold Houbraken's Schouburg from 1719 (published and sold by the author) Nederlands: Slang geleek, en d'Eeuwigheid volgens d'afbeelding der aloude Egiptenaren vertoonde. Deze papiere Slang natuurlyk gekoleurd en met zyn streepen beschildert, hadden zy van binnen met klapbusschen opgevult, die zy te gelyk door een snoer met buskruit bestreken aanstaken, naar dat zy hem in het midden van die Slangcirkel gesteld hadden: en wyl hy zoo onverschrokt en welgemoet, zonder daar van daan te vlugten, de slagen en vlam van 't buskruid uitstond, doopten zy hem Welgemoet. Als nader blykt uit dit volgende Vaers, by d'inhuldiging met algemeen toestemmen, uitgesproken:
