Description
English: Commissioned by De Lespine, Willem_Swidde (c. 1660-1697) engraved a series of views of the famous gardens of Versailles between 1683 and 1684. A series of prints with the same subject published in Paris and engraved by Nicolas Perelle formed the source of inspiration for this series of prints.
