Description
English: This map of the town Vercelli was completely based on Italian sources and belongs to the fifth and last volume of the Italian town book by Joan Blaeu (1598-1673). Each town book was dedicated to a special part of Italy. Apart from some city plans and city views each volume includes a large number of topographical prints of cities and buildings. The fifth volume, published posthumous by his heirs, was dedicated to the cities of Savoye.
