Nederlands: Deze kaart van Toscane in midden-Italië werd uitgegeven door Frederik de Wit (1630-1706). Het kaartbeeld werd door De Wit vermoedelijk ontleend aan het kaartboek Italia van de Italiaanse kartograaf Giovanni Antonio Magini (1555-1617). Mogelijk maakte hij ook gebruik van de zgn. Carta del Cavallo van Giuseppe Rosaccio (1530-1620).
English: This map of Toscane was published Frederik de Wit (1630-1706). De Wit copied his map after an example in the map book Italia by the Italian cartographer Giovanni Antonio Magini (1555-1617). He possibly made use of the Carta del Cavallo by Giuseppe Rosaccio (1530-1620).
