Description
Nederlands: In 1704 publiceerde Pieter Mortier (1661-1711) een compilatie van de stedenboeken van Italie die Joan Blaeu (1598-1673) en zijn erfgenamen in 1663 en 1682 hadden uitgegeven. Hij vulde die verzameling aan met materiaal uit zijn eigen atelier, waaronder dit gezicht op de stad Rome.
English: In 1704 Pieter Mortier (1661-1711) published a compilation of the town books of Italy published by Joan Blaeu (1598-1673) and his heirs in 1663 and 1682. He added to this compilation materials from his own studio, among which this view on Rome.
