Description
English: Joan Blaeu (1598-1673) published 58 maps of the Italian regions in his Atlas Maior in 1662. Most of these maps were unchanged reprints of maps already published by Blaeu in 1640. This map of the island of Tremiti in the Adriatic Sea was not one of that series. The map was specially engraved for the Atlas Maior.
