Nederlands: Deze prent van Romeyn de Hooghe (1645-1708) toont een scene uit de oorlog die tussen 1666 en 1669 werd gevoerd tussen de Verenigde Oostindische Compagnie onder leiding van Cornelis Speelman en de Boeginese koning Radja Pallaca. Vermoedelijk is op deze prent de beslissende veldslag uit deze oorlog afgebeeld, de verovering van het Boeginese kasteel Samboupo op 25 juni 1669. De prent werd uitgegeven door de Amsterdamse houthandelaar en kaartuitgever Johannes de Ram (overleden ca. 1693); Bovenaan de kaart twee inzetten, verwerkt in de titelcartouche: links: Glisson, Pannekoke Batta-batta Barrabon etc. overweldicht. Rechts: De Hooftstat SAMBOEPO en s Konings Hof stormende ingenomen. Rechtsboven het portret van Cornelis Speelman. Linksboven het portret van Radja Pallaca, de koning van de Boeginezen.
English: This print by Romeyn de Hooghe (1645-1708) shows a scene from the war waged between 1666 and 1669 between the Dutch East India Company (VOC) led by Cornelis Speelman and the castle of the Buginese, Samboupo, 25 June 1669. The print was published by Amsterdam wood merchant Johannes de Ram (deceased c 1693).
