Der Bäckerbreitergang in der Hamburger Neustadt verläuft vom Valentinskamp aus Richtung Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße. Die im Bild rechte Straßenseite ist der letzte Rest der früher typischen Gängeviertelbebauung in der Hamburger Neustadt. Die zum Valentinskamp hin gelegenen Häuser stammen aus dem frühen 19. Jahrhundert, das Haus 49/50 aus der Mitte des 17. Jahrhunderts.
