English:
A vernacular dwelling house with a front "gossip" porch and lobed gables. It was built in the 1860s using Baroque and Classicist elements. It has a neoclassical front porch and a wooden side porch with cranes, floor plan: room-kitchen-room-pantry; Its free chimney remained. Slovak Community House. Monument plaque: "Townscape significance/People's dwelling/Built mid-nineteenth century//Urban T.VB. 1980." - 15 Békési Road (Route 470), Sarkantyú Street corner, Downtown, Békéscsaba, Békés County, Hungary.

Előtornácos karéjos oromzatú népi lakóház. Épült az 1860-as években, barokk és klasszicista elemek felhasználásával. Klasszicista előtornáca és darufás fa oldaltornáca van, alaprajza: szoba-konyha-szoba-kamra; szabad kéménye megmaradt. Szlovák Közösségi Ház. Nem azonos a Kossuth tér 10.szám Békéscsabai Szlovák Kultúra Háza Panzió és Étterem - Műemléktábla: "Városképi jelentőségű/Népi lakóház/Épült XIX. század közepe//Városi T. VB. 1980." - A „podsztyenás” népi lakóház. Része a kőoszlopos előtornác, szlovák elnevezése: podsztyena, a magyarul a pletyka elejű ház. Az előtornác először az ún. sipkás, vagy simléderes házaknál volt, később fa-, az1850-es évektől mind gyakrabban téglából rakott, „kő” oszlopokra támaszkodott. Jó időben itt szőttek, fontak a lányok-asszonyok, beszélgettek, vagy éppen fogadták az udvarlóikat. - Felvidéken általános volt, hogy az előtornác az udvar felé is folytatódott.
