Description
English:
Heart of Jesus Church. Built in Neo-Baroque style, between 1930 and 1933. Plot was donated by Weiss family. Planned by László Irsy. Renovated in 1947, in 1969, in 1971 A religion class room built to the church in 1991. Statue of Jesus Christ as the Good Shepherd is in a facade niche, Lajos Krasznai works, 1933. Iron cross and a victims of the Second World War plaque are on facade. Inside: The new/remodelled altar made in 1978. In the foreground is a Golgota modell with an angels statue, five circa 1 meter high, white stone statues are on consols of two sides of the nave. The Stations of the cross are stone reliefs, the altar is a simple stone table with a circa meter high colourful Jesus statue. In the sacristy a Christ on the cross mural. Simple rectangular windows are on facade and each long side of the nave - Béke Square, Erdőalja neighborhood, 21st district of Budapest.

Jézus Szíve templom. 1930. április 2.-án Shvoy Lajos megyéspüspök letette a II. kerület templomának alapkövét, azon a területen, melyet a Weiss család adományozott. 1933-ra megépült a neobarokk stílusú templom, vitéz Irsy László tervei szerint. 1992-ben a Kalocsai Iskola Nővérek zárdája (a templom mellet?) elkészült, cserébe a templomhoz hittanterem épül 1991-ben - Budapest, Csepel kerület, Csepel-Erdőalja városrész, Béke tér
