On June 3, over 300 people joined #PullenChurch to stand in solidarity on the sidewalks between Pullen Memorial Baptist Church and the North Carolina State Capitol. As Pastor Nancy Petty said, the purpose of this Call to Action was to bear witness, "to respect the physical, social distancing that we've been asked to do in our city, and not to gather in large crowds, but to still give a personal witness with our bodies and our words." Thank you to the many photographers who participated and shared photos: Steven Paul Whitsitt, John Pavlovitz, Dana Deaton, Kevin Neiley, Chalice Overy, and others. |
