Description Locomotives are previous BR Class 37 locomotives, refurbished at Barrow Hill Roundhouse by Network Rail for use in testing the new ERTMS signalling system on the Cambrian lines from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth and Pwllheli. The locomotives were formerly 37100, 37170, 37178 and 37217 respectively. A new inspection shed was built in 2008 at Coleham in Shrewsbury for these locos.
