Description
Deutsch: Denkmalgeschützter Bahnhof in Buckow, Landkreis Märkisch-Oderland, Brandenburg. Unter Schutz stehen laut Denkmalliste: Bahnhof mit Empfangsgebäude, Fahrkartenausgabe und Gepäckexpressgutabfertigung, Laderampe, Inselbahnsteig, Maschinenhaus mit Unterwerk, Werkstattgebäude, Lok- und Wagenschuppen sowie gepflastertem Bahnhofsvorplatz mit begrünter Insel. Der Bahnhof wurde 1897 als Endbahnhof der Buckower Kleinbahn, die im eingleisigen Pendelverkehr den Anschluss an die Preußische Ostbahn in Müncheberg herstellte, eröffnet. 1998 für den planmäßigen Nahverkehr geschlossen, verkehrt die Bahn heute (Stand 2012) in den Sommermonaten als Museumsbahn, betrieben vom Eisenbahnverein Märkische Schweiz e. V.. Im Bahnhof befindet sich ein kleines Eisenbahnmuseum.
English: Listed train station in Buckow, District Märkisch-Oderland, Brandenburg, Germany. Listed is the whole ensemble, including some buildings as well as the platform and the station forecourt. The station was opened in 1897 as destination station of the Buckower Kleinbahn, which connected Buckow with the Prussian Eastern Railway in Müncheberg. Since 2002 the railway is operated by a private association as heritage railway in the summer months.
