Description
Besättningen på fyrskeppet 10 B GRISBÅDARNE år 1912. Med på bilden finns bland annat fyrbiträde Karl Hillgren, fyrmästare John Knutsén och dennes hustru Edit. Grisbådarne är namnet på ett grundområde i Skagerack, beläget nordväst om Strömstad på gränsen till Norge. Grundet bemannades i början av 1900-talet, 1900-1929, av fyrskepp 10 B (ofta kallat FLADEN). 1929 ersattes fyrskeppet med en klock- och lysboj med AGA-ljus, och fyrskepp 10 B flyttades till Fladen. I dag [2014] är fyrskepp 10 B i privat ägo och ligger för ankare vid Skeppsholmen i Stockholm. Hon är fortfarande certifierad som fartyg, ny maskin håller på att installeras och provtur är planerad till senare under 2014.
