Nederlands: Maar liefst 15 van de 35 raadsleden in de gemeenteraad van Almelo zijn nieuw. De overige 20 leden hadden ook al zitting in de gemeenteraad. Dat bleek vrijdagmorgen tijdens de bekendmaking van de officiële uitslag door burgemeester Arjen Gerritsen.
Nieuwkomer PVV komt met de eerste drie van lijst in de raad. Dat zijn lijsttrekker Sebastiaan Stöteler, Patricia Pol en Hidde Heutink. Opmerkelijk is de terugkeer van oud-wethouder Jan van Marle. De CDA-er is met voorkeursstemmen gekozen. Bij de VVD is Martijn Makkinga met voorkeursstemmen in de raad gekozen. Dat gaat ten koste van Willem Loupattij. De opkomst ligt met 50,8% iets hoger dan in 2014. |
