Description

Day 4 (part 1) 4/1/17 Arizona

At the time we were witnessing this pair nesting in Madera Canyon, they were sharing nesting responsibilities. The father had taken over sitting on the nest. He sat on it almost 25 minutes before leaving and the mother taking over. We'd been told they do this throughout the day every 20 minutes or so - exchanging who sits on the nest.
