Description
English: The combined heat and power plant (CHP) in Leipzig Möckern was commissioned by the Leipziger Stadtwerke on Wednesday, 24 March 2021. In the same year another CHP of this type went into operation in the district of Lausen. The design of the facade cladding made of metal by the architectural office thoma architekten won the German Facade Award 2022 for suspended ventilated facades. The German Fassadenpreis is an architectural prize awarded annually by Brillux since 1991.
Deutsch: Das Blockheizkraftwerk (BHKW) in Leipzig Möckern wurde am Mittwoch, 24. März 2021 durch die Leipziger Stadtwerke in Betrieb genommen. Im gleichen Jahr ging ein weiteres BHKW dieses Typs im Ortsteil Lausen in Betrieb. Die Gestaltung der Fassadenbekleidung durch das Architekturbüro thoma architekten aus Metall gewann den Deutschen Fassadenpreis 2022 für vorgehängte hinterlüftete Fassaden. Der Deutsche Fassadenpreis ist ein Architekturpreis, der von der Firma Brillux seit 1991 jährlich vergeben wird.
