Svenska: Blockmakarens hus, bottenvåningen, Stigbergsgatan 21, Södermalm, Stockholm. Bottenvåningens 20 kvadrat hyrdes av Emilia Gustavsson, änka med fem barn. Interiören återställd som det såg ut på 1920-talet.

Bottenvåningens 20 kvadrat hyrdes av Emilia Gustavsson, änka med fem barn. Det var fattigt och trångbott. Emilia arbetade som tidningsbud och städerska. På bilden syns en del av Emilias rum med bäddsoffan och symaskinen, som var en viktig ägodel för en fembarnsmor. Kläder syddes i sin helhet eller så kunde man sy om kläder som man fått ärva.
