Nederlands: Identificatie Titel(s): Bokaal met het opschrift: DER BURG'REN LIEFDE EN TROU IS'T VEILIGST SCHILT VOOR EEN/DIE VREDE EN VRIJHEIDT MINT EN BOOSHEIT DURFT VERTREE'N Objecttype: bokaal Objectnummer: BK-1959-28-1 Omschrijving: Bokaal met stam met geprofileerde nodus waaronder een been met holle facetten op dubbele ring. De voet is afgeplat bolvormig met vlakke uitstaande rand. De kelk is conisch en loopt naar de bodem met luchtbellen, rond toe. Versiering: maagd met helm en schild naast een man in Romeinse dracht die zijn voet op een adder zet en in de linker hand een laurierkrans draagt. Achter de maagd een lam; links en rechts van deze groep putti met wapentuig. Op de andere zijde een gekroond wapen met drie lelies in rocaille omlijsting, waarvan bloemen en een cornucopium vol vruchten afhangen. Bovenaan rondom het opschrift: DER BURG'REN LIEFDE EN TROU IS'T VEILIGST SCHILT VOOREEN/ DIE VREDE EN VRYHEIDT MINT EN BOOSHEIT DURFTVERTREEN. Gesigneerd en gedateerd: W:O:R:1738. Met foedraal (BK-1959-28-2).
