Description
English: A peranakan bridal headdress from Penang, made of silver and feathers, sometime around 1900. The bride wore an eleborate headdress made up of 100-200 pieces, and with dragon motifes to signify the bride as a queen for the day. Many headdressed also had deity motives to protect against evel spirits. Exhibit in the Peranakan Museum, Singapore.
