English: Former slag heap in Buchholz Forest (Buchholzer Forst) in Recke-Steinbeck, Kreis Steinfurt, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. This slag heap is the oldest one in the whole coal mining area of Ibbenbüren.
Deutsch: Frühere Halde im Buchholzer Forst in Recke-Steinbeck, Kreis Steinfurt, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Diese Halde ist ein Relikt aus den Anfängen des Kohleabbaus im Buchholz und gilt als die älteste im gesamten Ibbenbürener Steinkohlerevier. Wann genau sie angelegt wurde, ist jedoch nicht bekannt. Auf dem oberen Bereich der Halde ist deutlich eine Pinge zu erkennen. Ein großer Teil des Waldgebietes gehört zum Landschaftsschutzgebiet Martensberg (LSG-3612-0002).
