Summary edit

Description
English: The picture was made during the construction of the free-standing stage hall of the reform boarding school Schule am Meer on the East Frisian island Juist in the Free State of Prussia. The building was and still is unique since no other school in Germany owns a freestanding theater hall. It was planned by Berlin-based Jewish architect Bruno Ahrends (1878–1948), whose son Gottfried Bruno attended this boarding school.
