Korrektur: Das Flugblatt (oder Plakat?) richtet sich gegen die USPD und gibt ihr eine Mitschuld an der Ermordung von Liebknecht und Luxemburg. Wahrscheinlich stammt es von der im Januar 1919 alleinregierenden SPD.

Inscriptions „Karl Liebknecht und Rosa Luxemburg die Führer des Spartakusbundes, sind am 15. Januar den aufgestachelten Leidenschaften zum Opfer gefallen. Noch herrscht Dunkel über den genauen Hergang. Fest steht nur, daß dieses entsetzliche Ereignis geboren wurde aus einer Stimmung wüster Volksverhetzung, die die Gefahr der Gegenrevolution in ihrem Schoße birgt. Wer trägt die Schuld? Das Organ der Unabhängigen, ,Die Freiheit‘, hat diese Frage bereits beantwortet. Kein geringerer als Karl Kautsky schreibt über diese gegenrevolutionäre Stimmung, wie sie sich nach den blutigen Ereignissen der zweiten Januarwoche herausgebildet hatte, wörtlich: ,Leider ist sie heraufbeschworen worden gerade durch die Politik der Spartakusse‘. Wer aber hat diese Politik mit verschuldet, sie Tag für Tag durch Zeitungsartikel, Resolutionen, Aufrufe, durch eine wüste Hetze gegen die bis zum letzten Augenblick um Einigung bemühte Regierung gestützt, gefördert, vorwärtsgetrieben und alle Stimmen der Vernunft durch den Appell an die brutale Gewalt überschrie? Die Unabhängigen und ihr Berliner Vertrauensmänner, die revolutionären Obleute.“
