For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Die Amtseinführung des neuen stellv. Reichspräsidenten Dr. Walter Simons wurde am 12. März 1925 durch den Reichstagspräsidenten Löbe im Reichstag vorgenommen. Blick in das Arbeitszimmer mit dem neuen stellv. Reichspräsidenten im Reichspräsidenten-Palais. Die Aufnahme wurde eine Stunde nach dem Amtsantritt vorgenommen.
