Description
Nederlands: CBS Infographic, De daling van het aantal motorrijtuigen, 1936: Uit de statistiek der motorrijtuigen per 1 Augustus 1935 van het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek blijkt, dat bet aantal personen auto’s en vrachtauto’s van 1934 op 1935 met resp. 1795 en 2791 stuks is gedaald. Voor een klein gedeelte is de vermindering van het aantal vrachtauto’s te verklaren uit de omstandigheid, dat inde laatste statistiek de driewielige vrachtmotorrijtuigen zijn onder gebracht inde rubriek „motorrijtuigen op twee of drie wielen”. De K.N.A.C. is van mening, dat de terugslag inde ontwikkeling van het 'motorwegverkeer, welke blijkt uit boven staande grafiek over de jaren 1928 tot 1935, in hoofdzaak is te wijten aan de met rond 50 % verhoogde belasting op motorrijtuigen, welke 1 Januari 1935 is ingegaan.
