Guatemala City

Summary edit

Description
English: La Limonada, located in Guatemala City, Guatemala, is the largest urban slum in Central America and is home to an estimated 60,000 to 100,000 people. Residents face chronic and infectious disease threats, as well as social and environmental challenges, and health services in such communities can be limited. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention supports local and national health departments through local partners to help Guatemala respond to public health threats and prevent the spread of disease regionally and globally.
