Description
English: A calf in a drinking/feeder box on a farm in Argentina – "Instead of letting the calves milk from their mothers, the hundreds of calves in this farm come to milking machines to drink. To insure that they get the proper amount of milk, all the baby cows are tagged with a 'fob' that only allows them to drink a certain amount per day. If they try to go over their quota, the milking machine will refuse to give them more milk. The amount the baby cows drink per day is also recorded onto a computer so that they have the records. Kind of crazy!"
