Description
English: Plaque about Resurrection in the Saint-Nicolas church in Capbreton (Landes, France). The dove in front of an olive branch in the symbol of Ressurection, because during the Deluge, the sun had desappeared. There is also the Chrism and Chi-Ro with the alpha and omega letters as symbol of the Beginning and the End. And the fich Ichthys symbol of the Christ. The latin text is : "They will stand up again, the buried bones."
Français : Plaque sur la Résurrection dans l'église Saint-Nicolas à Capbreton (Landes). La colombe avec branche d'olivier devant le soleil est un symbole de résurrection, car le soleil avait disparu pendant le déluge. La plaque comporte aussi le Chrisme et le Chi-Ro avec l'alpha et l'oméga symbole du commencement et de la fin. Et le poisson Ichthys symbole du Christ.
